Magee is primarily a manufacturing company with strong engineering experience and capabilities. We provide research and development support in close collaboration with our customers, along with complete re-engineering service to resolve customer product issues. We manufacture new components, provide complete certification and can build to customer specifications, offering greater component design flexibility to meet specific customer needs.
Custom Engineered Parts
Magee produces a variety of custom products for various commercial, medical and industrial applications. These products include, but are not limited, to convention center utility floor boxes, DNA testing equipment covers, lighting products, vacuum pump covers, machine covers, assembly trays, drip pans, clean room wall systems, privacy wall partitions, and custom marine interior items.
Decorative Plastics
Magee has developed processing for decorating thermoplastics that can be laminated to plastics and composites for use in a variety of applications. Nothing grabs attention like a full color graphic and now you can put dramatic full color images virtually anywhere. Our process offers a new way to decorate plastics and composites by infusing color directly into plastic materials at the molecular level. The results are brilliant, durable, formable images. Also available are silk-screened images capped with UV stain-resistant films and coatings.
Fabrics and Laminated Textiles
Magee has developed processes for decorating fabrics that are laminated to plastics and composites for use in a variety of applications. These materials give the appearance and feel of fabric or carpet appearances.
Honeycomb Panels and Cargo Liner Materials
Magee manufactures a wide range of honeycomb panels and laminations produced from various honeycomb and pre-preg composite materials. These laminations are used in aircraft cargo area panels, aircraft and locomotive interiors, and a variety of office products such as partials and clean room wall systems.
Plastic Molding
Magee's plastic moldings are produced by vacuum forming, pressure forming, compression molding or injection molding of a wide range of materials such ABS, PVC, Polycarbonate, Radel, Ultem, Nylons, Phenolic and other specialty materials.
Product Development
Magee has developed high quality aerospace products for nearly 40 years and has a great deal of knowledge engineering and developing parts for various industries. Our expertise includes developing concepts with our Catia Drafting software, which enables us to produce 3D models, Stereolithography SLA models, CNC programs, tools, and fixtures, along with reverse engineering capabilities.
Refurbishment
Magee has been performing interior panel repairs and laminate recovery for 30 years. We specialize in upper and lower sidewalls, bin doors and lavatory and galley component panels. In many cases we can offer factory new STC-PMA rotable shipsets to reduce the downtime of shipping the panels back and forth from our facility. As a complete manufacturing facility, we produce replacement panels for those damaged beyond repair. Repairing and recovering panels on a shipset basis is an economical option for restoring an interior to like-new condition without the high cost of total replacement.
